Adding Data Entry Devices to Thyssenkrupp elevators and landings - Thyssenkrupp 3.2.0

To configure the elevators or landings in an elevator group, you must add Data Entry Devices (DEDs) to them.

1. From the home page in Config Tool, open the Plugins task.
2. From the entity browser, select the Thyssenkrupp plugin, and then click the Configuration tab.
3. Right-click an Elevator or a Landing and select Data Entry Device.
4. (Optional ) Add a Name and Description for the DED.
   NOTE: The Name must follow the Thyssenkrupp naming convention, which is as follows:

   • DEDs in elevator cars have elevator group number, DED number 255, elevator or landing number, and then front or rear. For example, DED 3.255.1.F is the DED on the front side of the first elevator in elevator group 3.
   • DEDs on landings have elevator group number, DED number, elevator or landing number, and then front or rear. For example, DED 3.1.1.F is DED 1 on the front side of the first elevator in elevator group 3.
5. Beside Card reader, click Add () to select a card reader to link the DED.
6. Beside Pin reader, click Add () to select a pin reader to link to the DED
7. (Optional) Beside Cameras, click Add () to select a camera to monitor the DED.
8. Click Apply.
   NOTE: As you add DEDs, the plugin automatically toggles between Front and Rear, starting with Front. For example, the first DED you add will be on the Front side, and the second DED added is automatically added to the Rear side.
