Connecting Security Center to a parser using the Gateway API - Transaction Finder 3.2.0.0

If you are using a custom parser, you can import transaction data from your point-of-sale (POS) system to Security Center using the Gateway API.

1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
2. Select the Transaction Finder plugin role, then click Add parser.
3. In the Add parser dialog box, enter the following:

   Name

   The name of the parser that you are connecting to.

   Description

   The description that you want to apply to the parser.

   Type

   From the list, select Gateway.

   URL

   If the parser that you are connecting to provides a web page to configure the parser, enter the URL of the web page.

4. Click OK.
   • The parser is added to the entity browser.
   • The web page to configure the parser is displayed in the Properties tab of the parser.
5. In the entity browser, select the parser you created, and click the Properties tab.
6. In the parser configuration web page, enter the required information.
   NOTE: Clicking Generate new in the Authentication key field will copy the authentication key to your clipboard, so you can paste it where required.
   
7. Click OK.
