To restore a Vanderbilt SPC system alert mapped to an event-to-action with a Security Center alarm, you must select it in the Maps task. Some event-to-actions, such as arming an area, require Vanderbilt SPC system alerts to be restored for the panel to issue them.

Before you begin

  • Ensure that you have the Reset sensors privilege.

What you should know

  • To restore Vanderbilt SPC system alerts, the intrusion role and the intrusion unit must be online.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Maps task in Security Desk.
  2. Right-click the alarm used in the event-to-action mapped with Vanderbilt SPC system alerts.
  3. Select Restore SPC alerts.


  4. In the window that opens, select the events that you want to restore.


    NOTE: For a list of Vanderbilt SPC alerts, see Vanderbilt SPC alerts list.
  5. Click Restore.

Results

The selected alerts are restored. If the restore has been successful, the alert should disappear from the list in the Restore SPC Alerts window.
