Windows end-of-life information for Streamvault appliances
It is essential to know the Windows edition and version installed on your Streamvault™ appliance to ensure that you receive the necessary Microsoft updates and support for your system.
To find the Windows edition and version of your Streamvault™ appliance, do one of the following:
- Check the appliance's Windows Certificate of Authenticity (COA). For more information about the COA, see Re-imaging a Streamvault appliance.
- Open Settings, go to , and check the software specifications in the Windows specifications section.
The table below shows all the Windows editions and versions used in Streamvault™
appliances, their Genetec end-of-life (EOL) dates, and links to the Microsoft documentation.
Ensure that your system is up to date.
IMPORTANT: The Genetec EOL dates for
Streamvault appliances shown in the table correspond to the extended end dates
indicated in the Microsoft documentation, not the mainstream end dates. During the
extended support phase, you continue to receive Windows security updates until the
extended end date is reached.
