Loggers and trace loggers are troubleshooting tools used to track issues on your system and improve overall functionality.

A logger is an individual monitor or counter that describes what is happening in a specific part of the system. When troubleshooting, our Technical Support team often needs to run several different loggers to gain a more complete understanding of the problem.
A trace logger is a group of loggers saved together to help troubleshoot specific types of problems. These groups have been saved with names describing what they are built to help diagnose. Running a trace logger means you are running multiple loggers at the same time.
Here are some common trace loggers in Security Center:
  • Access Control - Access Manager
  • Archiver - No Video Found
  • Platform - Active Directory
