For encrypted end-to-end communications, by default the plugin uses a secure HTTPS connection between Security Center and deister Commander.

IMPORTANT: By default, the deister Commander system uses an unencrypted HTTP connection for web communication. This poses a security risk, as sensitive information, including PINs, card numbers, and passwords can be exposed over the connection and used for malicious purposes.

If you enable an unsecured HTTP connection, your Security Center and the deister Commander servers should be located on a private and secured network to help reduce this risk. For more information, see Connecting the plugin to deister Commander.
