If access control cards are being used to access a deister proxSafe locker,
you must indicate which card formats are valid.
What you should know
- Multiple different card formats can be used to access assets from a deister
proxSafe locker.
- When a cardholder is given access to assets in a cabinet, only one of the
cardholder's card credentials will be synchronized to the cabinet.
- The card credential synchronized to a cabinet is based on the priority of a
given card format in the card format synchronization settings.
Procedure
-
From the Config
Tool home page, open the
Plugins task.
-
In the Plugins task, select the plugin role from the
entity browser, and click the Properties tab.
-
In the Card format synchronization section, select card
types from the Security Center card formats list, and click to add the to the
Card formats used by deister proxSafe locker
list.
The
Security Center card
formats list shows the card formats supported by
Security Center. For more information on how
to add card formats, see the
Credentials chapter in the
Security Center Administrator
Guide.
-
Select a card format from the Card formats used by deister proxSafe
locker list and click to move it to
the top of the list to establish its priority.
NOTE: If a cardholder has multiple cards that are compatible with the locker,
the card with the format that appears highest in the Card formats
used by deister proxSafe locker list will be the card that
unlocks the proxSafe locker.
-
Click Apply.
Example
The following card formats are added to the
Card formats used by Deister
proxSafe list, in this order:
- 26-bit Wiegand
- 48-bit Corporate 1000
- 37-bit H10304
If cardholder A has only a 48-bit Corporate 1000 card in Security Center, this 48-bit Corporate 1000 card
will be sent to the cabinet.
If cardholder B has both a 37-bit H10304 and a
26-bit Wiegand card in Security Center, the
26-bit Wiegand card will be sent to the cabinet, since it has higher priority in the
list.
