If the connection between Security Center and deister Commander is lost, you can synchronize the two systems make sure any configuration changes that were made, or data that was created, is updated in both systems.

What you should know

  • The first time that you connect the deister proxSafe plugin role to the proxSafe deister Commander system, supported assets from the proxSafe system are automatically created in Security Center.
  • Roaming KeyTags, which are assets that can be stored in multiple lockers, are not supported, even though they can be nested under the deister proxSafe plugin role in Config Tool.

Procedure

  1. From the home page in Config Tool, open the Plugins task.
  2. Select the plugin role from the entity browser, and click the Properties tab.
  3. In the Asset and group synchronization section, click the Synchronize button.

Results

After the synchronization is complete, assets and asset groups from deister Commander are updated in Security Center, and user access rights from Security Center are updated in deister Commander.
