Upgrading to deister proxSafe plugin 3.2.0 - deister proxSafe 3.2.0

If you currently have deister proxSafe 3.1.213.0 or later installed, you can upgrade directly to version 3.2.0. If you are using a version of the plugin that is earlier than 3.1.213.0, you must uninstall the earlier plugin, then install the latest version, and recreate your configurations.

To upgrade from an earlier version of the plugin than deister proxSafe 3.1.213.0 to deister proxSafe plugin 3.2.0:

1. Open Server Admin, and back up the Directory database.
2. Back up the plugin role database.
3. Back up your deister Commander database. For more information, consult the Microsoft article Create a Full Database Backup - SQL Server.
4. Take notes and screenshots of your plugin configuration.
   NOTE: Plugin data from an earlier version of the plugin than 3.1.213.0 is incompatible with the deister proxSafe plugin 3.2.0 and must be reconfigured manually.
5. From the Windows Program and Features, uninstall the plugin.
6. Install the latest version of the plugin.
7. Configure the plugin.
   The plugin is ready for use.

To upgrade from deister proxSafe 3.1.213.0 or later to deister proxSafe plugin 3.2.0:

1. Open Server Admin, and back up the Directory database.
2. Back up the plugin role database.
3. Back up your deister Commander database. For more information, consult the Microsoft article Create a Full Database Backup - SQL Server.
4. Install the latest version of the plugin.
5. After the plugin is installed, open Config Tool, and update the database:
   1. In the Plugins task, select the deister proxSafe.
   2. On the Resources page, in the Actions section, click Database update.
   3. Wait for the update to complete.
6. Deactivate the plugin role, and then activate it.
