The deister proxSafe plugin integrates proxSafe assets into Security Center by connecting to the deister Commander system.
After you connect the deister proxSafe plugin role to the deister Commander system, you can import assets and asset groups from deister Commander to Security Center, and export user access rights from Security Center to deister Commander.
After the initial synchronization, all asset management (aside from renaming entities) takes
place in deister Commander. Changes made to assets in deister Commander are
reflected in Security Center after a manual synchronization between the two systems
is performed. When a deister proxSafe entity is renamed or an access schedule is
updated in Security Center, the change is automatically pushed to deister Commander.
CAUTION:
This integration uses Security
Center cardholders as the sole source of cardholder data. When you enroll deister Commander into Security Center, the plugin deletes existing
users from the deister system as the Security Center cardholders are pushed.
- To avoid deleting users, create them as Security Center cardholders in the plugin.
- If there are already users on the deister system before enrollment, export them from deister Commander, and then import them into Security Center and assign them rights.
In addition to manually releasing proxSafe assets to cardholders, you can also investigate past proxSafe events, and view your asset inventory in Security Desk.

- The deister proxSafe plugin is installed on all Security Desk workstations.
- Config Tool
- The deister proxSafe plugin is also installed on a Config Tool workstation. The Security Center administrator uses Config Tool to create and configure the plugin role.
- deister proxSafe plugin
- The deister proxSafe plugin is installed on a Security Center server and runs as a plugin role.
- deister Commander
- deister Commander is the software platform that is used to manage deister proxSafe assets.
