You can rename the names of deister proxSafe assets in Security Center. These changes are automatically pushed to deister Commander.

What you should know

  • deister proxSafe assets are imported from deister Commander, they are not created in the plugin.
  • After adding proxSafe assets, you must click Import or Synchronize on the plugin Properties page so they appear in the plugin.
  • Renaming an asset in Security Center updates the asset name in deister Commander.

Procedure

  1. From the home page in Config Tool, open the proxSafe Asset management task.
  2. Click the Asset management tab.
  3. From the drop-down list, select the plugin role.
    The plugin role is usually named Deister ProxSafe. Asset management page of the deister proxSafe plugin for Security Center
  4. Select an asset from the list.
  5. In the Name field, revise the name of the asset.
  6. Click Apply.

Results

The name of the asset is automatically changed in Security Center and deister Commander.
