Configure the iLOQ 5 Series plugin role to connect the role with the iLOQ 5 Series Digital Locking System, configure a proxy, enforce a credential revalidation period, and preserve standard access rights.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool homepage, open the Plugins task.
  2. In the Plugins task, select the plugin role from the entity browser, and click the Properties tab.
  3. In the Connection section, configure the following:
    iLOQ 5 Series service address
    The web address of the iLOQ server you want to connect to.
    NOTE: The plugin is bound to this iLOQ server and cannot be changed. To manage another iLOQ server, create another plugin.
    Service code
    Your iLOQ customer code.
    Username
    The username used to connect to the iLOQ Manager system.
    Password
    The password used to connect to the iLOQ Manager system.
  4. In the Proxy configuration section, enable the Use proxy setting if needed.
    1. Enter the hostname or IP address of the proxy server.
    2. Enter the port number.
    3. If the proxy server requires authentication, enter the username and password.
  5. In the Credential revalidation period section, configure the desired Default and Maximum revalidation period values of iLOQ 5 Series keys.
    NOTE: If the configured maximum revalidation period is changed to a lower value, all keys already imported are updated with the new value.
  6. In the Access rights section, enable the Preserve standard access rights setting to configure your Security Center access rights without removing existing access right in the iLOQ manager.
    NOTE: Disable this setting after all Security Center areas and access rules are fully configured.
  7. Click Apply.
