You can modify an iLOQ 5 Series S50 credential using the Credential management task.

Before you begin

Ensure you have the required Manage iLOQ credentials privilege.

What you should know

Modifications to iLOQ cardholders and credentials should only be done using the iLOQ credential management wizard. For more information, see Limitation 3256633.

Procedure

  1. In the Cardholder management task, select the cardholder whose credential you want to modify.
  2. Click Modify (Pencil on white background).
  3. In the cardholder modification dialog box, click the iLOQ credential management option.

  4. Select the Edit credential option.

  5. Select the credential that you want to edit from the Credentials list.
  6. Modify the following information:
    Name
    Enter a name for the credential entity. Cannot exceed 100 characters.
    Description (optional)
    Enter a description for the credential. Cannot exceed 100 characters.
    Status
    If a credential is set to Inactive or Lost, click Activate to reactivate. If you want to remove a credential from use, click Deactivate.
    Activation date
    Date and time that the credential activates.
    Expiration date
    Date and time the credential expires. Enter a specific date and time, or select Never.
    Revalidation period
    Enable the revalidation period to keep the credential active while the key is offline. The time entered cannot exceed the value configured on the plugin's Properties tab.

  7. If the credential is part of the blocklist, click Acknowledge blocklist warning to remove the warning from the plugin.
    NOTE: This button is only visible if the credential has an active blocklist warning.
  8. Click Edit.
    The Summary page shows a Mobile credential successfully edited message.
    NOTE: A Mobile credential creation failed message is displayed if the credential creation was completed, but the plugin was unable to effect the change.
  9. Click Finish.
