You can automate the process of installing the iLOQ 5 Series Digital Locking System plugin by installing it in silent mode.

Ensure the following:
- Your server meets the recommended system requirements.
- A compatible version of Security Center is installed.
Create a folder for the log files on your local machine, for example, C:\Genetec\Logs

Although it is possible to host the plugin role on any server, it is best practice to host that role on a dedicated expansion server for best system performance.
For your operators to have access to the features of this plugin, you must install this plugin on all Security Center client workstations.

Open the GTAP Product Download page.
From the Download Finder list, select your version of Security Center.
Search for your package by name and download it.
Click the downloaded .exe file to unzip it.
By default, the file is unzipped to C:\Genetec.
In Windows, right-click the Command Prompt, and then select Run as administrator.
In Command Prompt, navigate to the directory with the .exe file:
cd C:\Genetec\iLOQ_vx.x.x_bxx.0\iLOQ Packages, where iLOQ_vx.x.x_bxx.0 corresponds to your version.
Enter the command for one of the following use cases:

IMPORTANT: Enter the commands without hard returns.
- To install with preconfigured default values:
```
"Genetec iLOQ 5 Series Setup.exe" /silent
```
- To use different install and log folders, and restart the Genetec server:
```
"Genetec iLOQ 5 Series Setup.exe" /silent ISInstallDir_iLOQ="<installation folder file path>" RESTART_GENETEC_SERVER=1 /log"<log folder file path>"
```
- To use different install and log folders without restarting the Genetec server:
```
"Genetec iLOQ 5 Series Setup.exe" /silent ISInstallDir_iLOQ="<installation folder file path>" RESTART_GENETEC_SERVER=0 /log"<log folder file path>"
```
  NOTE: In this case, the plugin role cannot be created until you manually restart the Genetec™ Server.

The plugin is ready for use.

(Optional) If you need to do a silent uninstall, do steps 5 and 7, and enter the following command in step 7:

"Genetec iLOQ 5 Series Setup.exe" /silent /DebugLog"<path to log file>\<log filename>" /log"<path to log files>\" -remove
