[KBA-79153] Memory usage of Synergis Softwire increases over time with enrolled Axis controllers

The Synergis™ Cloud Link might become unresponsive when it has AXIS A1001 or A1601 or both controllers enrolled under it.

On the Synergis™ Appliance Portal System status page, RAM usage might start to increase over the course of several days. Even though the Synergis Cloud Link unit is pingable, the Synergis Appliance Portal might become inaccessible, and the Synergis Cloud Link unit might go offline in Config Tool.

Applies to

Synergis™ Softwire 11.3.0 - 11.3.4

Cause

Memory leak.

Workaround

From the Synergis Appliance Portal, perform a Software restart once per week to prevent the Synergis Cloud Link unit from reaching an unresponsive state. If the unit becomes unresponsive, it needs a power cycle.

Status

This issue is resolved in Synergis Softwire 11.4.1.
