[KBA-79160] Unable to manually arm an I/O zone from Security Desk

When a Mercury controller is moved from one Synergis™ Cloud Link unit to another that is under a different Access Manager role, the I/O zone becomes inoperable and cannot be armed from Security Desk.

The scenario concerns an I/O zone that monitors an input belonging to a Mercury controller.

Applies to

Security Center 5.10.4.15 and 5.11.3.2.

Cause

A coding issue. The Mercury controller continues to send commands to the old Access Manager role because the ownership of the I/O zone is not transferred to the new Access Manager role.

Workaround

Move the Mercury controller back to the original Synergis Cloud Link unit or recreate the I/O zone. For more information, see Creating I/O zones in the Security Center Administrator Guide on the TechDoc Hub.

Status

This issue will be resolved in Security Center 5.10.4.16 and 5.11.3.3.
