You can change the default setting for reconnection to the panel and the retention period of panel events.

What you should know

The settings for an intrusion detection unit extension are configured at the Intrusion Manager level, and apply to all the intrusion detection units that are managed by that Intrusion Manager role.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Intrusion detection task and click on the Intrusion Manager role in the entity browser.
  2. In the Properties tab, configure the following:
    Keep Events
The period that you want to store events from the Honeywell Galaxy intrusion panel in Security Center.
    Reconnection delay
The number of seconds between each attempt to reconnect to the panel after a service disruption.
  3. Click Apply.
  4. In the Extensions tab, do the following:
    • From the list of intrusion detection units, select Honeywell Galaxy.
    • Enter the number of seconds between each time Security Center sends the remote user code to the unit.

The remote user code is a 6-digit code used to establish contact with the panel. The default value is 543210.

  5. Click Apply.
