If license plate reads are visible in Security Center, but are missing in Flowbird GO, you can troubleshoot the issue.
Cause
Description: The Server URL is not set properly.
Solution:
- From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
- In the Plugins task, select the Flowbird GO plugin from the entity browser, and click the Properties tab.
- Under Parameters, make sure that the Server URL is filled and valid.
- Check with a browser to see if the URL is available.
Cause
Description: If you receive some reads for some ALPR units, but not for others. The mapping for the specific unit is probably invalid.
Solution:
- From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
- In the Plugins task, select the Flowbird GO plugin from the entity browser, and click the Properties tab.
- Under Lanes, make sure that there is at least one lane where the ALPR unit is assigned.
- Check that the camera ID and the token are valid. These values are provided by Flowbird and work in pair. Each camera ID is linked to a specific token to be able to communicate with the Flowbird API.
NOTE: The plugin logs in the Admin Console can give valuable information in the event of a
problem.
