[KBA-79073] Video tearing and packet loss when redirecting live video with large frames to UDP and TCP in Security Center 5.10
This article explains why packet loss can cause video tearing when a live video with a high number of frames is redirected to UDP or TCP in Security Center 5.10.
Video tearing caused by packet loss occurs when viewing a live stream with large frames and video traffic is redirected to Unicast TCP or UDP in Security Center 5.10.
Recording in the Auxiliary Archiver may be affected.
A coding issue
A hotfix is available for 5.10.0.
To acquire the hotfix, contact the Genetec™ Technical Assistance Center (GTAC).
This issue will be fixed in a future version.
Systems, where the Archiver role redirects video in multicast, are not affected.
