[KBA-78603] Global cardholders are removed from local cardholder groups and might be missing from host and guest sites
This article explains why global cardholders have been removed from local groups and why some cardholders are missing from both guest and host sites.
Summary
Global cardholders might have been removed from local groups. Some cardholders might be missing from both guest and host sites.
Symptoms
Multiple cardholders have been removed from their local groups. If you run an Audit Trail report, multiple messages are displayed, such as:
User X is no longer member of Group Z (where the Initiator is the Service User).
Cause
If you add global cardholders to a local cardholder group on the guest site following a full synchronization, the global cardholders are removed from all local cardholder groups.
A full synchronization can occur if:
- A scheduled task is configured to synchronize the role.
- You click Synchronize.
- The connection between the Global Cardholder Synchronizer role and the host system is lost due to a network issue. Upon reconnection, a full synchronization occurs.
Workaround
To obtain a hotfix for Security Center 5.7 SR1 (HF 1410476), contact the Genetecâ„¢ Technical Assistance Center.
Status
The issue will be resolved in Security Center 5.7 SR2.
