In the camera's Edit page, you can see the real-time status of the video unit's SD card or the NAS volume that it is connected to. Edge recording states are only displayed for cameras that support edge recording.

SD cards

The following states apply only to SD memory cards.
The SD card is in error state
The video unit's SD memory card might be faulty or malfunctioning. Format the SD card and then restart the video unit.
The SD card is full
The video unit's SD memory card has reached its maximum storage capacity and cannot store more video recordings. Solution: Export or delete the video recordings that are stored on the SD card before you can resume recording on the video unit.
The SD card is Ok
The video unit's SD memory card has been detected and is working properly. You can record on your video unit.
Memory card is not supported
Insert a memory card that is supported by the video unit manufacturer (see the manufacturer's website).
No memory card detected
The video unit's storage device is missing, has been removed, or is not properly inserted. Make sure that the SD card is present and properly inserted before you can record on the video unit.

Edge storage devices (SD card and NAS volumes)

The following states apply to recording on edge storage devices (SD card or NAS volume).
Error
The video unit's storage device (SD card or NAS volume) might be faulty or malfunctioning. Solution: Format the storage device and then restart the video unit.
Unmounted
The video unit's storage device (SD card or NAS volume) is present but has been unmounted through the video unit's web page. In this state, the storage device can be safely removed. Solution: Make sure that the storage device is in the Ready state before recording onto it.
Full
The video unit's storage device (SD card or NAS volume) has reached its maximum storage capacity and cannot store more video recordings. Solution: Export or delete the video recordings that are stored on the storage device before you can resume recording onto it.
Formatting
The video unit's storage device (SD card or NAS volume) is being formatted. Wait until the edge recording status is Ready before recording on the storage device.
Ready
The video unit's storage device (SD card or NAS volume) is working properly. You can record on the video unit.
