When searching for specific information within the Transaction Finder reports you can search for more than one field using different operators.

Search values are case insensitive and special characters are allowed.

Operator Description
Numerical data types
Between The value found must be within a specific range, such as a start date and end date.
Equal to The value found must match the value entered.
Greater than The value found must be greater than the value entered.
Greater than or equal The value found must be greater than or equal to the value entered.
Less than The value found must be less than the value entered.
Less than or equal The value found must be less than or equal to the value entered.
Not equal The value found must omit the value entered.
Non-numerical data types
Contains The search result must contain part of the search term you enter.
Contains word The search result must exactly match the search term you enter. Only a single term is allowed.
Equal to The search result must be an exact match to the search term or terms you enter.
In The search result must match one of the search terms you enter. Enter multiple search terms separated by a semicolon.
Is empty The search results must only contains empty fields.
NOTE: Mandatory fields, such as location ID, terminal ID, and transaction ID, will never be empty.
Match case The search result must match the casing used by the search terms you enter.
