To determine how completed forms are archived, you must configure archive settings.
Procedure
- From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
- In the Plugins task, select the plugin role from the entity browser, and click the Archive tab.

In the Archive folder field, enter the Windows location of the
folder where archives will be stored.
By default, this is C:\ProgramData\DynamicLogbook\Archives.
- To enable automatic cleanup, move the slider to ON and enter the number of days after which a form should be archived.

In the Maximum file size field, enter the maximum size of a file
that can be archived.
NOTE: When set to zero, all attached files are omitted from the archive.

In the Supported file types field, enter the extensions of the
file types that can be added to the archive, separating each value with a semi-colon,
followed by a space.
NOTE: Enter *.* to allow archiving of all file types.WARNING: You must explicitly indicate which file types are allowed. If the field is left empty, attachments will be omitted from the archive

To have a password requirement to access archived forms, move the password slider to
ON.
You can change the password by clicking the Change password button, entering and confirming a new password, then clicking OK.

In the File name field, enter the name that will be applied to
archived forms.
- By entering {formname} in this field, archived forms are given the name of the form template they use.
- By entering {partition} in this field, archived forms are given the name of the partition that the form is related to.
- In the Date field, enter the date that will be applied to archived forms.

From the Upon archiving success options, select whether you want
to do either of the following:
- Delete attached files
- Deletes the files that are attached to archived forms.
- Lock form
- Prevents forms from being modified after they have been archived.
- Click Apply.
