To avoid manually entering the values for lists, you can manually import the data from a .CSV or .TXT file.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
  2. In the Plugins task, select the plugin role from the entity browser, and click the Lists tab.
  3. Select a list and data source.
  4. In the Values section, click the Import file button.
  5. In the Import a CSV or text file dialog box, click the button, locate the file that you want to import, and click Open.
  6. From the Delimiter list, select the delimiter that seperates the values in the column.
  7. If the columns in the imported file have headers, move the Has header slider to ON.
This will remove the column headers from the list of values.
  8. (Optional) If you are using a dictionary type list, from the Data source key list, select the column of data that you want to import as keys.
  9. From the Column to import list, select the column of data that you want to import as values.
  10. Click Apply.
