The Dynamic Log Book plugin enables your organization to create custom forms in Security Center that simplify the reporting and filing of incidents.

Administrator tasks using Config Tool

Form layout creation:
  • Create form layouts, including body color, header and footer settings.
  • Configure the page format of forms (letter, A4, A5, etc.).
  • Import and export form layouts for easier replication.
Form creation:
  • Assign a form layout to forms.
  • Configure various form settings.
  • Create custom form templates by adding the following: text boxes, labels, check boxes, date and time fields, email address fields, numeric fields, images, web address fields, fields to attach files to reports, combo boxes, radio buttons, unique ID fields, and entity fields.
  • Configure fields to be searchable or mandatory.
  • Import and export forms to be saved or shared between systems.
  • Define the values in combo boxes through manual creation or importing data from .CSV files.
  • Configure event-to-actions using available macro to that trigger forms in Security Desk.
  • Archive forms as .ZIP files, with optional AES encryption.
  • Select entity types to make available in the form to be linked with the form entry.

Operator tasks using Security Desk

  • Manually trigger and fill in new forms.
  • Modify existing forms.
  • Print or export forms to PDF.
  • Retrieve completed forms.
  • Run reports to view filled, unfilled, or modified forms.
  • Receive notifications in the Security Desk tray when there is a form that must be filled.
