Before installing the extension, you must update your Security Center license to include a certificate for the extension. To update your license, contact us and provide the part numbers listed in this topic.

Part Number Description Requirements
GSC-1PAP-Receiver This package provides a license for 1 alarm receiver unit and 100 intrusion panels.

For a list of supported devices, see the product compatibility topic.

  • Synergis™ Standard, Professional, or Enterprise
  • Omnicast™ Standard, Professional, or Enterprise
  • Genetec™ Advantage System Maintenance Agreement (SMA)
Operating more than one receiver or over 100 panels on the same system requires additional license parts. For example, if you have an implementation with one receiver and 51 panels, then you need one part. If you have 101 panels, you need two parts. 201 panels requires three parts. If you have 51 panels but two receivers, you need two parts.

The following table shows how many parts are required in some different scenarios.

Number of receivers Number of panels Number of parts
1 51 1
1 101 2
2 51 2
2 175 2
2 205 3
3 205 3
3 410 4

Does your Security Center license include all the options you need?

In addition to a certificate for your extension, ensure that your Security Center license includes all the options you expect to use in Security Center. For example, if you integrated a system that has visitors, you need the Visitors option in Security Center. If an option is missing, an error message is displayed when the server tries to create or modify the entity related to that option.

For a list of available license options, see License options in Security Center.
