You can monitor DMS entities in real time from Security Desk monitoring tiles, and the DMS Dashboard.

What you should know

From the DMS Dashboard, you can monitor the following settings for your sign:
Location
Location of the sign. Configured in the DMS entity's Location tab.
Mode
Mode of the sign: online, passive, offline, or maintenance.
Last communication
Date and time of the last communication between the plugin and the sign.
Illumination
Brightness of the sign according to the set brightness mode.

Procedure

  1. From the Security Desk home page, open the Monitoring task.
  2. Select a DMS entity by doing one of the following:
    • From the entity tree, double-click a DMS entity.
    • From the entity tree, drag a DMS entity to a monitoring tile.

Results

The DMS entity is displayed in a monitoring tile and open in the DMS Dashboard.
