After you have configured your DMS entities and messages, you can activate messages on your variable message signs.

What you should know

Using tags, you can also activate messages on signs in other ways:

Procedure

  1. From the Security Desk home page, open the Monitoring task.
  2. Select a DMS entity by doing one of the following:
    • From the entity tree, right-click a DMS entity and select Monitor entity.
    • From the entity tree, drag a DMS entity to a monitoring tile.
    The DMS entity is displayed.
  3. From the DMS Dashboard, under Messages, type the message name in the Filter field.
  4. Select the check box beside the message name.
    The message is now activated on the sign.
  5. To deactivate the message, clear the check box beside the message name.
