You can link Security Center cameras to SiPass entities, such as doors, elevators, floors, areas, and intrusion detection areas, so that when an access control event occurs at the entity, you can view the camera's video feed in the event displayed in the Security Desk Monitoring task and in related alarms.

Before you begin

Add and configure cameras in Security Center.

What you should know

You assign cameras to SiPass doors, elevators, floors, areas, and intrusion detection areas by selecting an entity in the Area view and accessing its configuration page in Config Tool. For more information, see Common configuration tabs. You can access this information by pressing F1 in Config Tool.

You can also link cameras to SiPass inputs. The process is different for inputs than for native Security Center entities, like doors and elevators. For instructions, see Linking Security Center cameras to SiPass inputs.
