For System Availability Monitor Agent (SAMA) to communicate with Security Center and SAM services, you must ensure that the firewall rules are correctly configured.

How SAMA communicates

  • SAMA must be able to send requests to Security Center through outbound TCP port 4502.
  • SAMA must be able to send requests to the following hostnames through the outbound TCP port 443 (HTTPS):
    Enpoint Description
    samip.genetec.com Activation/authentication with SAM services
    sampkac.genetec.com Activation/authentication with SAM services
    samhealth.genetec.com Collection of data that will be linked to the customer’s system
    samhealthanon.genetec.com Anonymous data collection
