Sipelia™ supports several codecs for audio and video communication.
SIP intercoms must support at least one audio codec and one video codec from the following list. In cases where both sides of the communication use a different codec, Sipelia™ Server transcodes the media stream to ensure that communication is still possible.

Supported video resolutions:
- Video resolutions up to 720p
- For resolutions 1080p or higher:
- Add the intercom as a camera in Security Center and attach it to the intercom.
- Turn off the SIP video on the device and the default video is available from the Security Center camera or configure the SIP video to a lower resolution and video streams are available from the call window.
