When contacting Genetec™ Technical Support, you need the System ID and the software revision number (image version) of the Genetec™ software installed on the appliance.
To access this information, you must log on to Windows as the Admin user.
Before you begin
In addition to the system ID and software revision number, Genetec™ Technical Support might request the certification number and serial number. You can find this information on a label of the Streamvault appliance.
What you should know
- From the Windows desktop, open Genetec™ SV Control Panel.
- If prompted, enter the password for the Admin user.
- Click About.
- In the System section, take note of the System ID and Software revision number.
