[KBA-00190] Cannot view federated cameras in the Live Viewer
This article explains why you might receive a Waiting for Signal message on a video tile when trying to view federated cameras in the Live Viewer in Omnicast™.
When connecting to a federation server and trying to view a federated camera, you will see a Waiting for Signal message on your video tile in the Live Viewer.
If any Omnicast™ application is open during software installation, some of the DLL files are locked and do not get registered properly.
- Open a Windows Command Prompt.
- Navigate to C:\Program Files\Genetec Omnicast Server 4.x and register the GxRedirector.dll.
