To prepare your Quanergy lidars for integration with Security Center, you must configure specific settings.

Before you begin

  • Make sure the Quanergy Qortex server is operating as expected and your lidars are set up.
  • Make sure your lidars are operating as expected.
  • Make sure the lidars are compatible with the plugin.

What you should know

This task only describes the settings that must be configured for the device to communicate with the plugin. For how to edit the settings.xml file on the Qortex server and all device configuration, refer to your manufacturer's documentation.

Procedure

  1. If your organization's network security policies require that the IP devices, routers, and switches in your network block unused ports, then make sure to open the TCP ports that the RSA Surveillance plugin and the Quanergy Qortex server use to communicate. The default ports are 17161, 17168, 17172, and 17177.
NOTE: If the user interface described in this topic is different what you see, make sure that you are running a compatible version of the software.
  2. In the settings.xml file, enable the following publishers by setting format to json or xml:
    • QTRACK_OBJECT_LIST
    • SENSOR_HEALTH_STATE
    • QORTEX1_ZONE_LIST
NOTE: RSA does not support protobuff serialization.
  3. Restart the Qortex server.
