What you should know

RabbitMQ is the messaging software used by Restricted Security Area Surveillance plugin. RabbitMQ is installed when you install the plugin. On the plugin's Properties page, enter the RabbitMQ settings so that Security Center can communicate with the plugin. The same settings entered here, must be configured on the third-party server.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
  2. Select the Restricted Security Area Surveillance role, and then click the Properties tab.
  3. Under RabbitMQ settings, enter the following:
    Server
The IP address of the server that runs RabbitMQ and the plugin.
    Port
The TCP port used by Security Center applications, the plugin, the RabbitMQ server, and the tracking system to communicate together. All systems must use the same port number. By default, the port number 5671 is used for secure communications.
