You can configure the advanced settings for the Barco CMS plugin 4.2 from the Properties page of the plugin in Config Tool.

What you should know

Additional advanced settings can be configured in the AdvancedSettings.xml file located in the installation directory of the Barco CMS plugin, for example, C:\Program Files (x86)\Security Center Plugins\Barco CMS.
IMPORTANT: After upgrading to Barco CMS 4.2, all previous configuration made in the AdvancedSettings.xml file is lost. All advanced settings are reverted to the default values of version 4.2, and must be set again.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
  2. In the Plugins task, select the plugin role from the entity browser, and click the Properties tab.
  3. Click Advanced settings to expand the section, And then configure the following settings.
    Auto load interval (in seconds)
    Interval between each automatic import of changes made from Barco Sidebar into the plugin database.

    The default value is 40 seconds.

    CMS api timeout (in seconds)
    How long the plugin waits for a response when communicating with the Barco CMS server.

    The default value is 10 seconds.

    Enable grid by default
    When set to Yes, new Perspectives are created with a grid, according to the Default grid size.
    Default grid size
    The default number of columns and rows of new Perspectives created in the Barco CMS task.

    The default width and height is 1.

    Default perspective size
    The width and height (in pixels) of new Perspectives created in the Barco CMS task.

    The default width is 1200, and the default height is 800.

    Prefetching CMS entities timeout (in seconds)
    How long the plugin waits for the prefetch query to the Directory role when the plugin starts.

    The default value is 10 seconds.

    Save timeout (in seconds)
    How long the plugin waits to execute a save operation.

    The default value is 80 seconds.

    Stream request timeout (in seconds)
    How long the plugin waits to request a video stream from the Archiver role.

    The default value is 5 seconds.

  4. Click Apply.
