[KBA-01145] Interlogix/GE Cameras Display “Waiting for Signal” After Omnicast Is Upgraded from 4.6 to 4.8 GA
This article explains why Interlogix/GE cameras suddenly show “waiting for signal” when viewed after an upgrade from Omnicast 4.6 to Omnicast 4.8 GA.
After upgrading from Omnicast 4.6 to Omnicast 4.8 GA, Interlogix/GE cameras show "waiting for signal" when a user attempts to view them in Live Viewer or Config Tool.
This is due to a coding issue.
A hotfix is available for Omnicast 4.8 GA (HF82417 or later). Please contact the Genetec Technical Assistance Center in order to obtain it.
This issue is resolved in Omnicast 4.8 SR3
