Calibrating the external Navigator box is a two-part procedure. First, you must use the Navigator oscilloscope tool to configure the Navigator box’s sensitivity to vehicle engine noise. Second, you must use the IO Services application to determine the patrol vehicle’s tick frequency.

What you should know

  • These instructions are only required for systems that include the external Navigator box. If the LPR Processing Unit includes the AutoVu™ Navigation Option, you only need to enable AutoVu™ Navigation settings in Genetec Patroller™.
  • If the system includes an odometry sensor, see Calibrating the Navigator box for use with an odometry sensor
