This article describes how to restore the RabbitMQ configuration files in Sipelia™ 2.3 GA and later
When installing version 2.3 GA or later of the Sipelia™ module (server only, not client), the RabbitMQ software is deployed with it's own specific configuration folder. If you experience a problem with your RabbitMQ configuration files or if the files are corrupted, you can restore the configuration files to their default values.
The RabbitMQ configuration folder is created by the Sipelia™ Server installer only. As a result, to re-install the module, you cannot use the RabbitMQ installer that is included with the Sipelia™ package or the one that can be downloaded from the RabbitMQ web site. Also, the Repair option in the Sipelia™ installer does not re-install the RabbitMQ module; it re-installs the Sipelia™ component only.
- Uninstall RabbitMQ.
- Uninstall Sipelia™.
- Remove the directory found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Genetec\RabbitMQ.
- Restart your computer.
- Re-install the Sipelia™ server
The Sipelia™ server installation deploys the RabbitMQ component. Installing the client feature is optional.
