[KBA-75949] Cannot change tile patterns in Security Desk
This article explains why users of Security Center 5.4 SR3 CU5 and Security Center 5.5 SR5 CU1 cannot change tile patterns in Security Desk.
When changing tile patterns in Security Desk, you get the error message shown below.
You do not have the alarm monitoring privileges. As a result, the system generates a null reference exception error when you try to change the tile pattern in Secruity Desk.
In Config Tool, select the user and grant them the alarm monitoring privileges. To apply this change, log off from Security Desk and then and log in again.
This issue is resolved in Security Center 5.4 SR3 CU6 and Security Center 5.5 SR5 CU2.
