Moving access control units to a different Access Manager - Security Center 5.8

If you want a different Access Manager role to manage and control an access control unit, for load distribution or another purpose, you can move the unit to another Access Manager using the Move unit tool.

1. Temporarily deactivate both Access Managers.
   1. In the Access control task, right-click the Access Manager, and click Maintenance > Deactivate role ().
   2. In the confirmation dialog box that opens, click Continue.
      The Access Manager and all the access control units it controls turn red.
2. From the home page, click Tools > Move unit.
3. From the Unit type drop-down list, select Access control unit.
4. Under Access Manager, select the units you want to move.
5. Under Access Manager, select the new Access Manager role to control the unit.
6. Click Move > Close.
