To receive ARX events and alarms in Security
Desk, you must connect the ARX plugin role
to the ARX server.

Procedure

From the Config
Tool home page,
open the Plugins task.

In the Plugins task, select the plugin role from the
entity browser, and click the Properties tab.

In the Host field, enter the hostname or IP address of
the ARX server.

In the Port field, enter the port number of the ARX
server.
The default port is 5004; it must be allowed on your network.

In the User field, enter the username with the
administrative privileges.
The default username is master.

In the Password field, enter the user password.
By default, the master user account has no password.

In Area deletion mode, select one of the following modes
to manage the area deletion behavior.
- Make offline
- If an area is deleted from the ARX configuration, the area will be offline in Security
Center.
- Delete
- If an area is deleted from the ARX configuration, the area will be deleted from
Security
Center.

In Door deletion mode, select one of the following modes
to manage the door deletion behavior.
- Make offline
- If a door is deleted from the ARX configuration, the door will be offline in Security
Center.
- Delete
- If a door is deleted from the ARX configuration, the door will be deleted from
Security
Center.

In Keep events, select the mode to keep events indefinitely or for a
configurable number of days.
