A manual synchronization imports all compatible entities from the CCURE 9000 server into Security
Center. You can choose which entities to import
and from which CCURE 9000 partitions.
What you should know
Synchronization can take many minutes or even hours to complete, depending on the
number of entities. For faster synchronization, disable the synchronization of entities
that you do not require.
Subsequent synchronizations take less time than the first
one.
Procedure
-
From the Config
Tool home
page, open the Plugins task.
-
Select the CCURE Access Control plugin from the entity browser, and click
the Synchronization tab.
-
Expand the Synchronization details section, and then click
the Manual synchronization button.
In the
Manual synchronization dialog box, choose the
entities you want to synchronize.
- Partitions
- Switch OFF this filter so that all of the CCURE 9000 partitions are included in the synchronization.
This is the default setting.
Switch ON, and then
select the CCURE 9000 partitions you want to include
in the synchronization.
- Events
- Switch ON to get all existing CCURE 9000 events. This updates the
Alarms task in Config
Tool.
- Hardware, areas and zones
- Switch ON to get all existing panels, readers, doors,
areas, and zones from the CCURE 9000 software.
- Switch Inputs to ON to get all
available inputs on the CCURE 9000 panels.
- Switch Outputs to ON to get
all available outputs on the CCURE 9000 panels.
- Personnel
- Switch Personnel to ON to get
the basic personnel data, like first and last name.
You can also
synchronize the following by switching them ON:
- Journal
- The CCURE 9000 journal is a log of event notifications,
such as door open and access denied.
- Switch ON, and then specify how many days of event
notifications to retrieve. These events will be stored in the Security
Center database and can be
viewed using the report tasks in Security
Desk.
-
Click OK, and then Apply.
To see the progress of the synchronization, click
, next to the
synchronization
State.
Results
When synchronization is complete, the following occurs:
- The CCURE 9000 entities are listed under the CCURE Access Control role in the Plugins task and
the Area View task
- Panel inputs and outputs are listed in the CCURE Access Control plugin
role's Peripherals tab and in the I/O
task.
- All CCURE 9000 event definitions are added as alarm entities
and as custom events.
