To use Security Center Mobile from Web Client, you can log on to Web Client using a web browser.

Before you begin

You’ll need to know the IP address or hostname of the Mobile Server computer.

What you should know

If a threat level is currently set in Security Center, then you might not be able to log on, depending on your user level. If this is the case, you receive the following message: “Insufficient user level”; if you are logged on, you might also be logged off.

By default, you are automatically logged off Web Client after twenty minutes of inactivity. You can change this setting from the Web Client connections page in Mobile Admin.

Procedure

  1. Open a web browser, and in the address bar, type <<http or https>>://<<Mobile Server computer IP address or host name>>/WebClient.
Tip: If you want log on to Web Client in another language, you can type <<http or https>>://<<Mobile Server computer IP address or hostname>>/WebClient/LogOn?Language=<<Fr, Es, It, Nl, De, Pt, or Pl>>.
The Web Client logon page appears.
  2. In the logon page, type your username and password.
If you do not know your username and password, contact your system administrator.
  3. If you want to change the Web Client language from the logon page, click the drop-down list, and select your preferred language.
  4. Click Log on.
  5. To log off, click Log off in the top-right corner of the Web Client pages.
