Administration tasks are where you create and configure the entities required to model your system.

This section takes you on a tour of the administration task layout, and describes the common elements of most administration tasks. The Access control task was used as an example.

A Entity views Views for each entity type managed by the task. For example, the Access control task has a Cardholder groups and a Credentials view.
B Search box Type a string in this field, and then click to filter the entities in the browser by name.
C Entity browser Click an entity in the browser to show its settings on the right. The selected entity is highlighted in blue.
D Configuration tabs The entity settings are grouped by tabs. The first tab, named Properties, is found in all entity types.
E Show/hide selector Show, hide, or expand the selector pane.
F Configuration page This area displays the entity settings under the selected configuration tab.
G Undo/save changes You must Undo or Save any change you make on the current page before you can move to a different page.
H Add/delete entity Click to Add an entity, or Delete the selected entity.
