[KBA-78609] Directory fails to start after uninstalling CU3 for Security Center 5.6 SR4 systems
This article explains why the Security Center Directory fails to start after uninstalling the cumulative update from version 5.6 SR4 CU3.
SummaryIf you have not yet installed Security Center SR4 CU3 on a Directory server, it is strongly recommended that you back up your Directory database before proceeding.
After uninstalling Security Center SR4 CU3, the Directory process does not start. An error showing that the database version is higher than the current software version is displayed.
If a recent backup of the Directory took place before the installation of Security Center SR4 CU3, restore that backup.
