[KBA-01151] “Service is too busy to process your request” error on logon screen of Web Client 3.1

This article explains why you might encounter a The service is too busy to process your request. Try again later error message when trying to log on to Security Center Mobile Web Client 3.1.

Symptoms

When you try to log on to Security Center Mobile Web Client 3.1, you might get the following error:

The service is too busy to process your request. Try again later. 

You also receive the following error in the Event Viewer in Security Center Mobile Server:

Cause

An issue in Security Center creates duplicate custom events in the Directory, causes this behavior in Web Client.

Workaround

Delete the duplicate custom events from the Directory in Security Center and restart the Mobile service.

Status

A hotfix is available for Security Center Mobile 3.1 GA (HF133653 or later). Contact the Genetec™ Technical Assistance Center to obtain the hotfix.

This issue is resolved in a future Security Center version.
