Granting user privileges for the Otis Compass plugin - Otis Compass 3.2

To use Otis Compass plugin features, you must grant plugin-specific privileges to Security Center users.

1. From the home page in Config Tool, open the User management task.
2. Select the administrator that will configure the Otis Compass plugin, and then click the Privileges tab.
3. Set the following privileges to Allow:

   Create Compass entities

   Allows the user to create Otis CompassPlus™ entities, such as floors, landings, and destination entry devices in Config Tool.

4. Select the operator that will use the Otis Compass plugin to manage elevators, and then click the Privileges tab.
5. Set the following privileges to Allow:

   Dispatch elevators

   Allows the user to manually dispatch elevators from Security Desk.

   Lock/unlock floors

   Allows the user to override the existing access rules, usually in an emergency, to either prevent or allow cardholders to access floors in the building.

   Otis Compass activities

   Allows the user to use the Otis Compass activities report.

6. Click Apply.
