Custom events and alarms are added in Security Center when you install the SDS Guardian plugin.

Custom events

The SDS Guardian plugin adds the following custom events in Security Center. They can be used as query filters in the SDS Events Report task or to create event-to-actions.

Event Source entity Description
SDS - Gunshot detected Guardian Sensor A gunshot has been detected. The SDS - Gunshot Alarm has been triggered.
SDS - Gunshot acknowledged Guardian Sensor A user has acknowledged the SDS - Gunshot Alarm.
SDS - Sensor online Guardian Sensor The sensor is online.
SDS - Sensor warning Guardian Sensor A sensor health warning.

This event reports issues such as high or low temperature, inoperative microphone, tampering, corrupt flash memory, and high ambient noise. For a complete list of warnings, refer to the documentation for your Guardian Sensors.

SDS - Sensor offline Guardian Sensor A sensor has lost connection.
SDS - Gateway online Guardian Gateway The gateway has established a connection.
SDS - Gateway offline Guardian Gateway The gateway has lost connection.

Alarms

The SDS Guardian plugin adds the following alarms in Security Center. They can be used as query filters in the Alarms report task or to create event-to-actions.

Alarm Description
SDS - Gunshot Alarm A gunshot has been detected. The SDS - Gunshot detected event has been triggered.
SDS - Sensor Health Alarm There is an issue with the sensor's internal components, or the sensor has detected an abnormality in the environment (Noise level too high and so on).

The SDS - Sensor warning event has been triggered.
