Before using the application, you must configure your interview rooms in Security Center.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Plugins task.
  2. From the entity browser, expand the Interview Room Manager role and select an interview room to configure.
  3. On the Tile pattern tab, select a video tile pattern.
    Patterns of one to four video tiles are available.
  4. Right-click each tile and select a camera, and enable audio if required.
  5. Click Apply.
  6. On the Hardware tab, configure the actions associated with your camera inputs and outputs.
    Input actions
    Can be triggered when the input is activated or deactivated. For example, flipping a switch to start the interview, and resetting the switch to stop the interview.
    Output actions
    Can be triggered when starting or stopping an interview within the application. For example, turn a light red (set active) when recording an interview, or turn a light green (set normal) when not recording.
  7. Configure each input as needed:
    1. Click > Input and select an input.
      NOTE: Only use inputs associated with cameras that you selected on the Tile pattern tab.
    2. Under the When column, select when the input will trigger.
    3. Under the Action column, select an action to trigger.
  8. Configure each output as needed:
    1. Click > Output and select an output.
      NOTE: Only use outputs associated with cameras that you selected on the Tile pattern tab.
    2. Under the When column, select when the output will trigger.
    3. Under the Action column, select an action to trigger.
  9. Click Apply.
